Green juices are a super simple way to incorporate the benefits of green leaves in your diet. It’s an amazing detox, extremely customizable, nutrient-rich, and quick to make. These leaves represent the essence of Ayurveda. Consuming green juices improves digestion, reduces inflammation, boosts immunity. The point here is that the greens are so easy to grow and they are all around us.
Our favourite way to make green juice is with cucumber, ginger, pineapple, lemon and tender coconut water. These sweeter ingredients make the juice more palatable. For the leaves use moringa leaves, rosella leaves, mint leaves, brahmi and insulin plant leaves.
Some study suggests that having too much green juice raises blood sugar levels so consume in moderation.
Put all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Strain it into a glass and enjoy. It’s all you need in the morning to keep you energized!
