Project 365 – Closure

It has been an amazing journey, one whole year, of our blog “365 days – a road back to nature”. We have explored the colors, flavors, recipes, and cultural fabric that Solitude Farm and Solitude Farm Cafe represent.

Many hands have made this blog possible, starting with our farm team and the kitchen staff, especially Mala. Many writers have helped craft the blog, with special thanks to Rachna Agarwal, Sannaan Kumar, Bindi Joshi, a number of our Solitude Farm permaculture workshop alumni, solitude volunteers, Sarah Kundig, Deepa Mckenzie, and surely more people who we don’t remember!

A special thanks to Alessandra Silver for her amazing photography and for writing the project proposal in the first place. A big thanks also to Rathees Rajan Rajendran and Advait Patki for the photography and videos.

This project was initially funded by the Foundation Of World Education. As we realized the scope of our project was more extensive than we had initially anticipated, Auroville International USA supported us for a whole year to finish the project.

Profound thanks and gratitude to both the
Foundation Of World Education and Auroville International USA for your collaboration and financial support.

We would also like to thank Yuvabe for manifesting this vision with social media and on our website; this project would not have happened without them.

A big thanks to Madhuri Kadam, Naveen Reddy, Manasvini Sekar, and everyone who gave their hands and hearts. We hope you have enjoyed walking with us on this road back to nature. We hope you have been inspired to explore local food and reclaim your cultural and nutritional identity.

The work at Solitude Farm does not stop. Every Saturday, there is a free farm tour, and we offer workshops exploring permaculture and local food. We are continuously engaged with schools, colleges, and people trying to rediscover where their food comes from.
