Rosella leaves are soo common and easy to grow here. We are always coming up with interesting and unique ways to consume them, be it green smoothies, or chutneys. Today, we bring to you, a rosella leaf rice.

The rosella leaf rice is a 2-part recipe. It is a paste made from rosella leaves, that is mixed with rice, to make a delicious meal. In a pan, saute mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, garlic, tomatoes, dried red chillies, green chillies and rosella leaves with some oil. Once the leaves shrink, let it cool, and grind the mixture in a blender. Our rosella paste is ready! Mix this with some rice or varagu, and enjoy!
