The title might be intriguing, but the idea is so simple!
We all love to share a drink with our friends on occasion, be it an afternoon lemon juice or an evening mocktail, or whatever tasty beverage it is that float’s our social boat. Wouldn’t it be nice if our ice cubes had the potential to spark conversations on themes close to our hearts?
Try this in that case: take a few butterfly pea flowers, (ask a friendly neighbour if you haven’t got a butterfly pea plant, like the folks at Solitude Farm!) and boil it all in water for about ten minutes. Let it cool down and use it instead of water in your ice trays. Butterfly pea flowers help in improving memory and impart a beautiful purple colour to your ice cubes that will be most interesting to your friends as you all gather for that chilled drink. And when the questions come, you can proudly say to them that you have given them ice cubes that are also medicinal in nature!
