RADISH SALAD

Radish grows in abundance in the winter season. One of the challenges we face on our road back to nature, integrating local foods into our diets, is to create diverse recipes, so as to not get bored with a certain vegetable when there is a glut. At Solitude farm cafe we use radish in many ways and one of our delicious dishes is radish salad. We peel the radish, grate it, add lemon, salt, a little pepper, roasted cumin. Green chilly if desire etc. This salad is refreshing and very tasty. Try it!

Try adding little capsicum or coriander if you like!

Pro tips:
Grate the radish in the sieve, sprinkle salt and wait ten minutes. Press out excess water.
