Module 1 | CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a basket of fruits, vegetables, roots, edible weeds, greens, flowers, etc, that we harvest 3 times a week and provide to our local community. The CSA follows the changing seasons, and this module is all about connection with the plants and the variety of produce. Participants help with the harvest and bring it back to the kitchen, where it is washed, sorted, and packed into baskets for people to come and pick up.

Module 6 | Workshops – Natural Soap and Bio-enzyme Making

Natural Soap & Bio-enzyme making By learning to make our own soap, we can recycle our wastewater and use it to grow food. This is a simple activity that has to be integrated into our weekly schedule.  Recognizing the learning that comes with teaching, we hope by the second month, interns will feel empowered to teach these workshops themselves.

Module 5 | Field Trip

Once a week, we will take interns on field trips to see other projects similar to our own but also very different.

Select the fields to be shown. Others will be hidden. Drag and drop to rearrange the order.
