Drumstick flower poriyal

Saute mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, shallots and dried red chillies. Once the mustard seeds crackle, add in the drumstick flowers. This has to cook for about 10-12 minutes on low heat, for the drumstick flowers to become tender. This helps in reducing the mild bitterness, and in chewing and digestion of the flowers.

Drumstick flowers are well known in traditional Tamil cuisine. You can do so much with it. It is all a matter of experimentation.
