Pidi Kozhukattai is a common delicacy in Tamil Nadu. It is prepared for special occasions. It’s not only delicious but also amazingly nutritious and gluten-free.
Soak red rice for 1 hour and grind it into flour. Steam the rice flour for 15 minutes.
Add coconut, jaggery, cardamom powder, roasted green gram (moong dal), and peanut powder to the steamed rice flour.
Mold the mixture using your hand and steam it for 10 minutes.
Pidi in Tamil means “hold,” and this little delicacy is molded by holding it in your hand.
Tadahhh! Now you can enjoy your nutritious gluten-free delicacy.
