Rocky is an old friend from Portsmouth, England. He is a mural artist working on social art projects.
He first came to Auroville, and as well as getting involved with Johnny at Fertile, he undertook this wonderful mural at Solitude Farm, symbolizing all that we represent.
This year, he also spent several months in Auroville on our epic cafe mural depicting the evolution of Auroville- from desert to food forest.
As well as the food, one thing he really appreciated was painting in warm weather rather than cold and rain!
It was very interesting to see how many people were attracted to his work and stopped to talk, lend a hand, and make friends. This is the power of art, bringing people together. Thank You, Rocky, See you soon.
