Papaya black dal curry is a fantastic nutritious and fibre-rich mouth-watering curry.

For this, boil the black dal (cowpea) and keep it aside. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and bay leaves.

Add onion, tomato, green chilies, and ginger garlic paste, saute it for a while, and add the raw papaya and the ground black dal(cowpea) to it. Add a bit of turmeric powder.
Add coconut milk and serve it with rice, dosa, idly, rotis, etc.
